DCCCII president Daniel Lim stated that "We called up DCIPC (Davao City Investment Promotion Center) and we gave them our numbers. They gathered data and estimated losses of Php200M to Php250M.
Last Tuesday, according to Lim, "Davao had been losing at least Php5M per day since the closure. "The P5 million per day was an initial estimate based on the data we have," he said.

The estimated losses since June 2 reached Php247 million, broken down as follows:
- Php3million from cancelled hotel bookings
- Php500,000 from airport concessionaires
- Php1.5M from transport services provides (e.g., vans, taxi, tourist busses and rented car)
-Php50M from allied industries
-Php2M from airport terminal revenues
-Php190M from stalled cargo
The airport can accomodates at least 20 flights with more than 4,000 passengers daily from local carriers alone, that is based on the data from teh CAAP (Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
This incidents cause of big delay to the passengers. Others got angry, but what can we do, accidents happen in a very unexpected ways.
